Smart Cube Lamp With Swappable Magnetic Plates

• It's a small square smart desk lamp (15cm X 15cm X 15cm).
• Uses E27 smart bulb or LED light strip.
• Magnetic face plates, make your own custom lamp.

• 12 X 6*1mm Round Magnets (You can try buying 1.5mm on AE… I usually end up getting ~1.2mm)
• 12 X 6*4mm Round Magnets (Same, I usually end up getting 3.5~3.6mm)
• 10 X M3*10 Screws
• E27 Base (this exact one), E27 Smart Bulb, AC Power Plug
• ALTERNATIVELY - USB LED Strip
• B7000 Glue (Optional, secure the magnets)
• ¼ Inch Heat Insert (Optional)

HOW TO BUILD

MY PRINT SETTINGS

• PETG and/or PLA works fine. Wood is awesome for the Japanese plates.
• 0.2 ~ 0.25mm layer height.
• At least 3 walls and 3 top/bottom shells.
• Supports recommended - Just a little bit for the screw and magnet holes.
  • Snug.
  • 0.27mm top/bottom z distance.
  • 2 top/bottom interface layers.
• 15% infill works ok. Unless you want to abuse the lamp?
• Build Plates
  • Use 0.5mm blank plates as template to cutomize your own. Or print in white to diffuse light.
  • 1mm blank plates are used to block light - Print in full black or dark color.
  • All other plates - Print first 0.5mm in white/transparent, next 1mm in another color.
  • Ironing recommended - All top layers. Spacing 0.3mm, speed 60mm/s. Better ironing - Spacing 0.2mm, speed 50mm/s
