A flexible, durable strap printed in Vase Mode - surprisingly strong and incredibly versatile!
This elastic strap is 3D printed using Vase Mode, creating a flexible yet remarkably strong band. Successfully tested lifting a 16kg kettlebell (with 20mm wide strap) without any deformations!
Print Settings
- Material: Standard TPU 95A
- For best results dry your TPU before print
- Print Mode: Vase Mode (Spiral Vase)
- Nozzle: 0.4mm
- Recommended Strap Thickness: 0.8mm (twice your nozzle size)
Available Sizes
- Small (3 spiral turns): ~50cm strap, 11g filament
- Medium (10 spiral turns): ~2m strap, 47g filament
- Large (20 spiral turns): ~5m strap, 118g filament
- Width of strap: 20mm
- Parametric OpenSCAD file attached - feel free to generate your own width and length of strap
