Description
This is a modular docking station for two Bastl Kastle 2 synthesizers, such as the WaveBard and FX Wizard. The design includes an optional, attachable storage box for your patch cables. You can choose to print only the parts you need, and there's an optional press-fit adapter for a more secure, portable setup.
I designed it to be modular, so you can print only the components you need.
The project consists of three main parts:
Printing and Assembly: The parts were designed to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at a 0.2mm layer height. The cable slots are glued into place. I recommend starting with the middle one, then adding the other two, sized to fit smaller patch cables. The cable box is also designed to be glued to the main dock (if you want that).
The standard dock has a looser tolerance, which is perfect if your setup is stable on a desk. If you plan on moving it around, I highly recommend printing the press-fit adapter to keep everything securely in place.
