SNIGLAR Rocker Wheel Adapter

What This Is

Add wheels to your IKEA SNIGLAR crib so it rocks smoothly. Tested for over a year—it works, it's solid, and when you're done, wheels come off without a mark.

Why It Matters

A rocking crib helps babies sleep better and made ours actually want to stay in bed. The SNIGLAR is already rock-solid when built right, and these adapters keep it that way. Zero wobble, zero compromise on safety.

What You Need

PartQtyNotes
M4×30 Countersunk Screw16Plus 4 more if you want to screw into the wood as a safety lock
M4 Washer16Protects the plastic of wheel.
Furniture Wheel + Flange445×45mm flange, rubber wheel, ~32mm hole spacing (hardware store)

Wheel capacity: 25kg each (100kg total)—way more than you need.

Print Settings

  • Material: PETG
  • 6 perimeters, 0.4mm nozzle, 30% infill (use your experience—more is better if you've got the time)
  • Result: Tough enough to go over door thresholds

Install

  1. Screw wheels to adapters
  2. Slide onto crib feet
  3. Optional: Add side screws into the wood as a safety lock if you want
  4. Done

Reality Check

After a year of daily use, we only retightened screws once at 6 months. Normal stuff. The crib stayed completely rigid the whole time. Photos show what the adapters look like after real-world use.

Safety Note

This isn't an official IKEA product. Check that screws are tight before each use and make sure nothing's damaged. If it doesn't look right, don't use it. That's on you.
