Party glasses - 2026

3D model of party glasses for celebrating the arrival of the new year 2026.

Printing:

Print takes about 1h12min on CORE One and I recommend to use color-change during print, e.g. first 7 layers with one color and rest with black color. But of course you can go without color-change as well.

• Use PLA to bend the front part well in hot water.
• Use brim for the temples.
• Custom supports are ready for the revolute joint of the temples and work well for 0,2mm layerheight.

1. Remove temple brims and clean the edges.
2. Bend the front frame a bit using hot water (or heat gun) and coffee saucer. Hot tap water was sufficient in my case.
3. Remove small support block from the temples (inside joint).
4. Try to insert piece of filament into the holes. The holes may probably need to be enlarged.
5. Slide the temples onto the frame and insert the filament.
6. Trim the end of the filament.
7. Enjoy the party ;)
