Description
Helps keep viruses, bacteria, and germs from building up in your Cpap tank while blocking direct UVC light to your eyes. Doesn't clip on or attach directly to Cpap just slides over the tank while sitting on a flat tabletop. I have it on a timer to come on 4 times a day evenly spaced for 5 minutes each time (every 6 hours).
**Follow safety guidelines for UV-C products. Don't look directly at light.
**Follow your usual cleaning processes for tank, hose, and headpiece. Im not worried about voiding my warranty or anything but you use it at your discretion. I'm not responsible for modifications to medical devices, or careless operation- use at your own risk.
That being said, It works great for me. Noticeable difference when it comes to keeping the tank clean. The backplate is a wedge to aim the UV light slightly downward.
Parts needed:
Print in black for less light bleed, 4 perimeters, PETG, ABS, or ASA. I printed mine in PETG.
I put these UVC lights in my Ice machine and noticed some plastic discoloration after a couple years, but haven't noticed any changes to my Cpap since I have been using these for a couple years now.
