Choose the correct version to print — there are variants for 8 mm and 10 mm aluminum bed plates.
These measurements do not include the additional thickness added by the magnetic sheet or the print surface, which will increase the total height.
If you built your Trident from an LDO RevD kit, your aluminum bed plate is 10 mm thick.
For other kits, the thickness may vary, but the original Voron build uses an 8 mm aluminum plate.
Make sure your aluminum plate matches one of these two versions and choose the one that best fits your printer.

⚠ Note:
The 250 mm (8 mm plate), 300 mm and 350mm versions have not been tested yet, since my reference printer is a 250 mm model with a 10 mm aluminum bed plate.
If you decide to print the 250mm_Plate 8 mm, 300 mm or 350mm variant, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This decorative panel hides the front bed extrusion and can slightly help maintain bed temperature stability when printing with open doors in cooler environments.

The LED backlighting adds a distinctive look and can be customized with different colors or even adapted for status indication in future versions.

The main structure is designed to be printed in ASA-CF, ABS-GF, ASA, ABS or PETG-CF, providing both heat resistance and a clean, rigid appearance. The LED diffuser is printed in translucent PETG.

Mounts directly to the front extrusion of the Trident bed using M3 hardware and standard Voron heat-set inserts.

Alternate Version – Blank Front for Custom Designs

In addition to the illuminated “Trident” logo version, this project also includes a blank variant of the front cover assembly.
This version contains all structural and mounting parts, maintaining the same LED backlighting concept with diffuser integration — but without any logo or cutouts.

It is intended as a template for customized designs, allowing you to adapt the front cover to feature a different illuminated logo, a status light bar, or any other LED-based front design you’d like to experiment with.

The included blank LED diffuser is flat, with no raised lettering. You can modify both the front cover and diffuser to include your own logo or pattern — simply extrude your design into the diffuser and cut matching openings in the front cover.

If you prefer a clean front without any logo or lighting, you can simply print parts #1 (Front Cover) and #4 (Front Cover Holder). These two parts form a solid decorative cover without the LED system.

**Recommendation for remixers: If you plan to create your own illuminated design, it’s recommended to review the CAD file of the logo version first. Understanding the internal structure and the LED diffuser concept will likely save you time and failed test prints.
