⚙ DESCRIPTION
Since I usually print with high-temperature materials, it is STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED to use PLA for this project!
If you switch print plates after printing with materials such as ABS, PC, PAHT, or PA6, keep in mind that these have much higher heat resistance.
For example: you’ve just finished printing something in ABS, you remove the hot plate at 90 °C, and then place it back into your PLA riser.
👉 Guess what happens? It melts!
That’s because the Vicat Softening Temperature of PLA is only 57 °C, compared to much higher values for ABS.
⚠ That’s why I strongly warn against printing the riser in PLA — it simply can’t handle the heat of technical materials.
🧪 DEVELOPMENT & TESTING
This was a big project, requiring many adjustments due to the behavior of the materials.
As you probably know, ABS tends to shrink (up to about 0.30 mm per print) and demands careful calibration.

🧍♂ Tested for 6 months — zero issues!
🔥 MY SECRET TO A PERFECT PRINT
Here’s the setup I use to avoid warping and deformation:
Bed temperature: 97 °C
Apply liquid or stick glue on the build plate
👉 This combination guarantees perfectly flat, strong prints every time.
My print profile already includes this temperature!
(Of course, temperatures may vary depending on your local climate and conditions.)
🎨 FILAMENTS USED
Bambu Lab ABS (Black, Green, Orange & Silver) → for all riser parts
Bambu Lab TPU 95-HF → only for the gaskets
Since these filaments require different print settings and temperatures, they cannot be combined in a single file.
I’ve already tried — it throws an error. I’m saving you the headache!

🧷 TOOLS REQUIRED
Tweezers
4× M3 screws (2 for each drawer)
Optional: fine sandpaper to smooth support marks
💡 EXTRA FEATURES
You can add a USB LED controller and a power bank (easy to find on AliExpress or Amazon) to turn the LED on/off or change its color.
Simply unplug the LED wire and connect the pins to the controller.
This is the simplest way to power and control the LED without using extra electronics such as Arduino or ESP32.
