Description
Ever been at a concert or festival, holding your eco cup and thinking,
“Wow, this could really use some ergonomically optimized, 3D-printed support”?
Well, look no further! Introducing the Eco Cup Holder 25 cl Edition – the sustainable, reusable, and slightly over-engineered way to hold your drink like a responsible adult who also loves parametric design.
What’s an “Eco Cup”?
For our American friends scratching their heads: an Eco Cup is a reusable plastic cup designed to replace single-use drinkware at events. It’s washable, stackable, and – here’s the kicker – not meant to be thrown away after one use.
This holder is specifically designed for 25 cl Eco Cups — that’s about 8.45 freedom ounces, or roughly a small coffee you’ll still complain is too small.
Fun Fact
The 25 cl Eco Cup is exactly 0.25 liters, which equals 250 milliliters, which equals 0.00025 cubic meters. I could keep going, but at this point, the imperial system just filed a complaint.
Why bother with an “Eco Cup”?
Drinking from 3D-printed containers is unsafe because common printing materials and methods aren’t food-safe. Their layered surfaces trap bacteria, and additives or nozzle metals like lead can leach into liquids. Even “food-safe” filaments require dedicated, uncontaminated printers and FDA-approved sealants, which are rarely used in practice.
If you post a make, please include a banana for scale.
