Qi Wireless Octopus Tentacle Phone Stand with Pockets for Magnets

This is a scaled up version of my octopus phone stand with pockets for magnets. It is sized such that an Qi wireless charger and iPhone fit in the cradle. I sized it for Ubio labs 10W chargers, currently availble at Costco.

These chargers are 11mm thick, and my iPhone with case is 10.7mm thick. You may need to scale the octopus slightly to make it fit with other phones or chargers.

The magnets are 8mm dia, 3mm thick neodymium magnets and are secured with a dab of cyanoacrylate adhesive. The stand works fine if you don't place magnets in the pockets. You could also put some rubber non-skid pads on the bottom. (Reuse the rubber from the back of the Qi charger)

The chargers are affixed to the tentacle using quality double stick tape. Removing the back rubber pad from the charger made it adhere better.

Print with supports.
