HexaFlex – The Movable Mosaic

HexaFlex is more than just a coaster – it’s a creative, movable mosaic to play with, customize, and make your own.

Mix colors, link tiles, and shape your own movable mosaic. 
Each tile is a hexagon connected by small flexible links that lets the whole surface bend, twist, and grow in any direction. You can print it in one piece (print-in-place) for instant movement, or print tiles and connectors separately and assemble your own modular setup.

HexaFlex isn’t limited to tabletop use – try turning it into flexible jewelry like bracelets or cuffs, or use it as decorative textile material. Its reversible look and modular nature makes it great for wearable or ornamental projects. Whether you use it as a coaster, a piece of jewelry, a design element, or a satisfying fidget toy, HexaFlex combines function, creativity, and play in one flexible creation.

There are 13 different hexagon designs, offering all kinds of ways to expand, connect, and build – giving your creativity maximum freedom. This system lets you mix and match colors, expand infinitely, and explore endless combinations. It’s designed to be print-in-place and fully modular, colorful without MMU, and requires no supports. For a smooth and stylish finish, you can also add edge pieces that neatly close the outer borders of your design.

Try printing different color tiles and arranging them in patterns – geometric, gradient, or random – every setup looks unique The underside also looks great – especially if you use connectors in a contrasting color.

For assembly, just click the connectors with their rounder side into the hexagons.
