Description
Really like the original keychain screwdriver by “stiuk”, but only having 3 bits just wasn't enough for me. So I have designed a new main body of the screwdriver in the style of the original, which can hold 6 bits instead of 3.
I obviously had to enlarge the size, but I managed to keep within the diameter of the cap on the original keychain screwdriver. It is ~4mm longer, mostly to have a better grip on bit that is in use, but also so it can store a 7th bit backwards in the driver slot. It needs to be a thinner bit, like a small Umbrako/Allen or Torx, and you might need to insert the middle 3 bits in the storage compartment with the bit down(see image). It can be a little tricky to load all 6 bits into the storage, but it gets relatively easy when you get used to it.
I have also added a little spring clip to help keep the bit in the driver slot, and reduced the tolerances a little(EDIT: I have added an optional version with the original tolerances as well). It might be a bit tight right out of the printer, so you might need to force a bit in and out a few times with a pair of pliers. Or clean the hole a little with a screwdriver or similar.
Same printing instruction as original, and also use the cap from the original part(and drop them a like for the original concept while there): https://www.printables.com/model/1447950-keychain-screwdriver
