Stealthy magsafe case for Seeed SenseCAP T1000-E

This is a protective case for the Seeed SenseCAP T1000-E which lets it attach to Magsafe compatible phones. It is only 9.5mm thick and gives access to the button and the charging port on the back. There is also a slot cut out for a lanyard or strap. 

The LED light and buzzer are covered to maintain the appearance of an ordinary Magsafe power bank. I recommend disabling the buzzer because power banks do not usually make sounds.

Fusion 360 and STEP files are available if you want to edit or remix this project.

NOTICE: There needs to be 36.2mm of space between the middle of the Magsafe ring on your phone to the bottom of any camera bumps. Tested to work on an iPhone 13 with case on. May not work with certain iPhone pro models with larger camera bumps. See image below for reference.

Note: I printed all of my parts on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini with cheap generic PLA filament. This design is dependent on the screws threading directly into the plastic. The sizing for the holes and fitment of parts may differ if you have a different setup.

• 4x M2*4 Screws
  • I used some that I had lying around

Printing:

• Use 0.16mm layer height for all parts
• Place supports under overhang for the lanyard hole on the lid

Assembly:

1. Use a screwdriver or something to punch out sacrificial support layer in the screw holes on the base.
2. Make sure that the magnets are correctly oriented (They should attract the base to the phone) and stick the Magsafe magnet array into the base.
3. Place the button into its hole in the lid
4. Place the T1000-E into the lid, aligning its button with the case's button
5. Align the hole in the base with the charging port on the T-1000E and screw it into place
6. Optional: Sand smooth any sharp edges on the back of the lid from the build plate for comfort
