Hair Clip

Hello! I am pleased to share with you a hair clip which I designed to reuse the torsion springs from a hair clip which broke recently. 

The torsion springs are 5mm in length, and have an OD of 4mm. For the pins I press-fit in 2mm rods I had lying around. 

Post-processing:

• You will need to drill out the pin holes to 2mm, this is to ensure a proper press-fit.
• Light sanding to smooth out edges which might catch hair.
