Dan A4 H2O Bumpers

I designed these bumpers after having to transport the case quite a lot and the sidepanels are only mounted with non permanent pins. Target was for the mod to be non-destructable and use existing screw holes which it achieved.

Additional internal bracing for GPU may be needed to ensure safe transportation. Any damage occurring is not my liability!

BOM

• VHB tape or similar double sided tape to secure the bumpers to the case (fill the lowered sections with tape to ensure stable mounting)
  • other double sided tape may also work but cannot be removed as easily
  • I used 20mm wide and 1mm thick tape

Printing

Print all 3 corners from TPU filament. Choose a wall count and infill depending on your preferences, this will affect the squishiness of the bumpers. Preferably use the stl provided since all parts are already aligned.

Mounting

Unscrew the original feet and save the screws. Insert tape into the bumpers and place bumpers on the short edges:

• No holes in bumper → Front Top edge
• Only small holes in bumper → Front Bottom
• Only large holes in bumper → Back Top (holes for thumb screws)
• Large and small holes → Back Bottom

Screw in the original feet screws and enjoy your now more portable case.
