Description
Since I found out that it was quite easy to build a DIY Bezel Free Kit using the lenticular lens that some old monitors include inside, I've been trying to build one for my simracing rig. There are different supports out there that aren't very reliable to keep the lens straight enough when it isn't very a rigid one, as mine is. After a bunch of failed attempts it crossed my mind that using a threaded rod could be a good solution to keep the bottom holder secured while producing some tension.
Recently I discovered TS Custom mounts for Asus Bezel Free Kit and thought that it was a really cool solution that could be tried for DIY bezel free kit which normally use a thinner lens that need to be secured with screws. So this is my attempt heavily inspired by them.
1x 55-60mm fresnel layer
1x M6 threaded rod
1x M6 nut
2x M4x16 screws
2x M4 nuts
4x M3x6 screws
4x M3 nuts
Foam tape to attach to the holders to prevent scratches in your screen frame
For the bottom holder you can secure it using the bare M6 nut or any of the knobs available in printables:

Printing is very straight forward, just bear in mind that for the top holder you need to pause the print to insert the M6 nut
