DIY Chain Waxing System
Components:
- KoluaWax Wax Heater (from AliExpress or Amazon)
- 11mm x 500mm Carbon Rod, M11 Threaded Rod, or Aluminum/Steel Rod/shaft
- 2x M3 Heat Inserts with M3 screws or just M4 self taping screws (serving as end stops)
- 20cm Steel Wire Keychain (or custom bent wire/spoke/ziptie)
Specifications:
- PLA works fine
- Printed with 5 top/bottom layers, 5 walls, and 55% infill
- 0.2mm layer height
- 11.1mm holes for rod assembly, (snug pressfit on my printer, may require glue or hole adjustment with drill on yours)
Customization:
- Adjust rod length to fit your heater and chain size
