The Cafelat Robot is a great manual espresso maker. Some complain that the stark metal ends are hard on the hands when pulling down with 9 bars of pressure. Robot “Mittens” have been one accessory people add which gives the user a more comfortable hand-hold.
I've included only one EMF file which places the two parts on the print bed. I've used PLA but PETG should work as well.
I've only been at the 3D printing thing a week, so I appreciate feedback and I intend to refine this over the next year with better fit and logo capability. I put small clips inside these with the idea one could snap them off and on, but the clips need work; and often can break. However, these snap together surprisingly snug on my Robot, and once on, I don't see removing them. Treat them as a disposable accessory. I also plan to work on rounding the profile more as the edges could be less severe.
You can print the objects separately for a bit of efficiency. I used 0.2 PLA and print time is about 1 hr 47 min.
