Braille Peg Cell

This Braille Peg Cell can be used to teach individual braille letters.

Printing

• All parts can be printed without supports. Print the spring with enough perimeter lines that the flexible arms are solid.
• Tested with PLA and PETG.
• This design has some tight clearances. Test print a single spring and button to make sure everything fits inside the cell case well.

Assembly

• Snap a button cap onto one side of the spring. The spring should only fit in one direction.
• Insert the spring into the cell case. Once again, only one direction should work.
• Press the button all the way in so that the spring pops through the case and can be accessed on the other side.
• Snap a second button onto the spring.
• Repeat five more times.

Options

If the spring snaps are unreliable, use the alternate glue spring.
