Print Friendly Curved Analemma Vertical Plate for 3DMason Heliochronometers - Southern Hemisphere

Please note that the photos only show the northern-hemisphere parts.  The southern hemisphere parts are flipped 180 deg.

No post-processing required with this version to highlight the analemma curve on the vertical plate. Previous designs required painting with Markal B Paintstik Paint Pencil, etc. 

In this new design, the outer portion of the analemma curve resides on the vertical arm & the interior of the curve; i.e. large & small teardrops, are installed on a separate dark background part which provides the required contrast.  This assembly is then installed onto the vertical arm, ready for installation onto your existing alidade.   Make sure you are also using the larger curved nodus design with this new analemma design. See photos for assembly details.  Parts may require a small amount of glue if they don't remain in place.
