Description
I bought some Rossignol Tactic Ski Poles and wanted larger baskets for them. This is a quick design, nothing fancy, print it upside down and there is no need for supports. The pictures show an earlier version, the current version (v8) has different braces on the bottom but is otherwise the same.
EDIT: this also screws on to some Leki poles I recently bought.
Unscrew the small stock baskets to remove them, then "screw" these on. They aren't actually threaded but they'll go on and fit fine.
Yes they have cut outs of dog paws. I like dogs.
Update: 1/8/24 This has been updated to "v8" which I've skied with a couple times and so far they haven't cracked. Earlier versions did rather quickly. I'd view these as more novelty than a permanent replacement for a molded part.
Update: 2/8/24 These were holding up fine until I used them on a 0F degree day. TPU doesn't work well in very cold temps. I'm not sure where the transition is but 20F seems fine, 0F is too cold.
Update 4/7/26 It would appear that these can get torn off Leki poles if you drag them while skiing. I lost two of them yesterday... I may add real threads to them when I get home and have some time.
