Description
I always use the stock jack when I change tires on my Citroen Jumper.
For this I wanted to use my electric power drill, but it does not have enough torque.
I did not want to use my impact drill since it was causing excessive wear on the spindle of the jack.
Therefore I designed a planetary gearbox that amplifies your torque by a factor of 5.
Input size nut socket for your electric drill: 14mm
Output size (attaches directly to jack nut): 21mm
Parameter of the different gears:
In addition you need 3x M5 screws to close the housing.
Make sure you print the axle for the sun gear laying flat. Otherwise it will snap.
I printed the axle and sun gear, as well as the ring gear / housing in PETG, but PLA can also do the job.
Make sure to lubricate everything with some candle wax.
If you have problems I also added another axle variant that contains holes for long M3 screws that will toughen the hole structure.
