Description
I like to have to ability to take a decent amount of soldering stuff with me when I travel, or go to conventions, drone races, camping, etc. The Pinecil (or TS100) are amazing and work super well.
The case has a slide top, which slips in from only one side, and is reversible so can just keep the lid conveniently on it. There's a notch at the end that helps it closed.
Besides a spot for the actual pinecil, you will find storage for 4 extra tips, 2 tubes of solder, 2 small cassettes of solder braid for removal, and a push down flux pen.
There is a space that houses a small foldable solder pen holder and some sponges. The cover is removable and also slotted, so take the sponge and holder out of there, replace the cover and place the wet sponge back on top of the slotted cover. Little bits and debris should fall through the slots.
There is also a hidden compartment under the Solder tips which can store what you'd like, I use it to store a USB-C cable.
Print Settings:
ABS or ASA HIGHLY recommended in general for higher heat resistance for all the case bits. The Solder cover is recommended to be polycarbonate or another High Temp resistant material if you want use it regularly. I did the cover in ABS and have never had it melt or anything even when used for a while.
3 Walls
30% Infill
Disable Thick Bridges (Both Internal and external) or the pinecil logo wont look good
There are 4 parts to print in the same STL. Right click the model in you slicer and select Split to Objects
