Onion and Garlic Basket with Lid

A compact kitchen basket for onions, garlic, ginger, and other small produce. The model contains three parts: the basket, the lid, and an insert tray that drops neatly into place. The tray and lid seat securely by flexing the basket’s rim.

The v2 basket does not require any adapter pieces.

Print settings:
• 3 perimeter layers
• 10% infill

Update 2025-11-19:

• Basket revised with closed hinge holes
• Internal posts added to support the lid when open
• Adapter pieces added for the older basket model
• Lid hinges shortened for easier placement
• Small edge fillet added to the lid

For the older basket design, three small adapter pieces are included to recreate the closed hinge and internal support post. They are fiddly but printable; glue them into position immediately after printing.
