Chroma Print Head mount for Ender 5 Plus Mercury One

Co-Print Chroma Print head mount for a Ender 5 Plus that had the mercury one upgrade

The front plate takes 5 - 3mm x 5 threaded inserts. 3 for the Chroma Head and two for the belt clamps. Included a back view diagram where to add the inserts. 

The bottom and back plates were modified to exclude the trihorn duct and fan mounts (since the chroma head has a built in fan)

Back Plate takes 4 - 3mm X 5 threaded inserts

Top mount was modified 

Belt clamps aren't modified but I included their file for your convenience. (You'll need two belt clamps.) 

Assemble is similar to other print head mounts found on the Zero G website

4 - M3 x 35 screws to mount the front plate to the back plate (going through the top and bottom brackets) 

3 - M3 x 20 screws for the print head. 

I printed mine with ASA plastic, following Zero G's recommendations for print settings. 

Recommended print settings (From Zero G's website) 

• First layer height: 0.25mm (This is required. Our parts have been designed for this.)
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Extrusion width: 0.4mm, forced
• Infill pecentage: 40%
• Infill type: Adaptive Cubic, grid, gyroid, honeycomb, triangle, or cubic
• Wall count: 4
• Solid top/bottom layers: 5
• Seam placement: REAR
  • This is important as we have seam relieve features that line up with the seam placement.
• Supports: NONE
