Mechanical Bird (DND / TTRPG)

Here is another model that I couldn't find anywhere - this is a Mechanical Bird from Waterdeep Dragon Heist. This is an AI model that I sculpted / thickened a bit and then optimized for printing. The legs and wings were pretty thing so I used an inflate tool to increase their size, then I creased in some of the panels a bit to ensure a clear line between them and finally I added some bolts/rivets around the model where the AI just had some lumps.

This is supposed to be a Tiny creature but I find 10mm minis are super hard or impossible to print for most people so I have it on a 20mm baseplate and 25mm in height so it's more like a small animal (or a giant mechanical bird).

For printing I recommend putting it on its back with legs up in the air - these are still thin so they might be tricky on FDM but with good support placement and a steady hand you should be OK. Resin auto supports should make quick work on this mini.
