Description
Here is a model from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount that I couldn't find on the various printing sites the Aeorian Absorber. If you've been following along you might remember the Aoerian Reverser I made a little while ago. Like that one this is an AI model - it was mostly in good shape so I didn't need to remesh - I focused on sculpting in some fine details, applying a displace modifier from the textures and the usual print optimization. Since I didn't do a remesh the UVs weren't messed up and I was able to do a render with the textures applied - it looks really neat (although my render is a bit dark so you don't see the vibrant colours).
This is a large creature so I have it on a 50mm x 25mm baseplate.
For printing I usually print these upright but the tail might make that tricky I would still try printing it upright but maybe without the baseplate to avoid painful support removal between the legs.
I'm on a quest to make 1000 dnd models in 2025 and you can join me on Thingiverse, Printables, Cults3d or see my weekly updates on Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/c/Adamnant (as well as get codes for exclusive downloads on Cults3d). I'm focusing on models that don't seem to exist on Printables / Thingiverse and are listed in campaigns. If you have something that you need or a custom model like this that you want then let me know and let's make it!
