Simsonn Sim racing shifter 6 speed plate (7th gear delete)

Replacement plate for a Simsonn 7 speed shifter that blocks off 7th and makes it harder to misshift into reverse. The stock top plate also lets the shifter rod slam into the PCB during use, this should stop you from damaging the PCB while using the shifter and also makes it a bit quieter. 

There are two versions depending on what you want:

Single plate version - This replaces both plates at the top of the shifter. I printed mine with 6 walls and 6 top+bottom layers, 30% infill. Print top down on the buildplate. 

Lower plate only - This replaces only the lower plastic layer so you keep the top metal plate. Print bottom down. I prefer 100% infill for this one

Installation:

• Remove the shift knob
• Loosen the two large bolts (red arrows below)
• The top plate will be attached to the PCB and USB cable - loosen the 4 small nuts on the back and the PCB will come off
• Loosen the 4 small bolts (white arrows)
• If using the single plate version just reinstall the hardware the the same manner you removed it
• If using the lower plate version you will remove the clear plastic layer and replace with your print
