Granite Stash RT Adapter for Straight 1-1/8" Forks (with Drainage)

Overview

I designed this small adapter to make the Granite Stash RT (https://granite-design.com/en-de/products/stash-rt) tool fit inside a straight 1-1/8" fork steerer. The original Stash RT is made for tapered steerers (1-1/8" to 1.5"), so it didn’t fit my bike quite right. With this adapter, the tool now sits securely in the straight tube.

Design Notes

While working on the adapter, I also added drainage holes at the bottom. On my setup, water sometimes collected inside the fork and caused my tool to rust, since the Granite tool seals off the lower opening. The holes let any trapped water drain out easily, keeping the inside dry.

This is just a small hobby project I’m sharing in case it helps others with a straight 1-1/8" fork who want to use the Granite Stash RT. Feel free to adjust, remix, or improve it for your own setup.
