Filament sample tray with parametric Fusion file

Shortly after getting my first 3D printer I adopted the sample STL by Extrutim and have been using it for several years now (the Sample-A STL from his collection). I also used one of his boxes but for my needs those are over-engineered so I created this model which is more of a sample tray rather than a box (no lid). I also include the Fusion file so you can adapt the number of sample slots to suit your situation.

The STL I posted has 40 slots which used about 80g of filament at .20mm. If you want a different size open the F3D file and change the SlotCount parameter. I tried it with a few difference sizes and they all worked but of course YMMV. There are also other parameters you can tweak such as the slot size and height. Maybe someone else will find this useful. Have fun and buy more filament 😉
