Description
If you want super consistent spacing and mounting of hoiday lights on your crossbars, this will do it for you. There are 3 main components:
4-piece Rail Insert:
Each channel in each side of each crossbar gets 2 of these. They hold 4 lights each. Mount the lights in the holders and tuck the wires into the channel underneath. Slide the piece in. Rinse and repeat. Note you don't want to slide a mount completely in until you have the 2nd one prepped and ready to go in.
Middle Gap:
These are designed to sit in the gap in the middle of the crossbar and get zip-tied down. They have a channel underneath as well.
Side Brace:
These are a 2-piece design to fit on a build plate. They also get zip-tied to the crossbars to prevent lights from flapping and banging into the sides of your truck. I use a 30mm long M3 bolt and nut to hold the 2 pieces together along with glue.
Printing/Assembly Guidelines:
Use PETG, ASA, or ABS. PLA can melt in the sun. It's not fun.
