Description
A little finger viewfinder for viewing the world around you. A picture frame to take with you.Â
Â
Designed in Fusion360. Consists of a small picture frame, 2 simple rings that can be left as-is (22mm ID) or resized in the X and Y dimensions to fit snug on your fingers, and 2 small clips to attach the rings into the side of the frame.
Â
Print Instructions:
I printed the Frame with a .8mm nozzle and .32mm layer height because I had that on my printer at the time and it was very fast and printed cleanly, but nearly any resolution can work. I did not use any supports, as the bridging is only 2mm in the clip channels. Due to the small size, print the Rings and Clips at the highest quality you can, I switched to a .2mm nozzle.Â
Â
Assembly Instructions:
The clip fits over the ring first, and then use a bit of force to snap into the side of the picture frame at the desired height. You can even print more rings to make it more secure.Â
Â
Optional secondary uses:
With just the clips attached, you can either table or wall mount the frame. To hang from a hook on the wall: Attach two clips on the landscape or portrait side and hang it from a string. To stand the frame on a table: Attach two clips on the landscape or portrait side, and poke two short skewers through the clips.Â
