Description
Created a candy dispenser for halloween that dispenses 2" gachapon balls with candy inside. The design may still need work Had to add extra plastic around the melt in insert to make sure it worked properly on the geared motor I used. Also I do not know if the motor is still available so it might be best to update it to a different motor. Also had to cut off part of the top of the pvc pipe to not block the balls falling down. I had it setup for halloween but I think it had an electrical failure early on when a wire came loose from its crimp connector. If anyone wants to play around with this design please feel free. Otherwise I will probably continue to iterate on it more next year.

Arcade button I used for turning on power to motor:

12 volt power supply I used:

for wire I used doorbell wire. I will have to see if I actually use that again next year since a wire came loose from a crimp connector.
for assembling the box I used M3x100mm bolts and M3 nuts. for the set screw I used an M4 threaded insert and bolt. The set screw part could probably be improved upon though so you might want to tweak. the motor I believe I used M3x10mm bolts. The bolts going into the motor have to be longer than 5mm to make it into the motor but short enough that they do not mess with the gears in the gear box.
