Cardboard Box Corner Reinforcement

Corner supports for corrugated cardboard boxes.  I made these so I could assemble corrugated cardboard sheets/parts for a pen for newborn chickens/chicks, but you can use them however you feel would be useful.

Created in AutoDesk Inventor, the IPT file is fully parameterized in metric millimeters:

• cardboardThickness – The thickness of the cardboard you intend on using
• wallThickness – The thickness of the walls of the part you want to print
• wallLength – How long you want your horizontal walls to be
• wallHeight – How tall you want the walls of the print to be

Internal teeth are automatically sized and positioned to help retain the cardboard, per the above parameters.  The hole is designed for an additional zip-tie, if you don't trust the holding-power of the teeth.

PRINTING:

You can print these one-at-a-time, or you can build an assembly (as I did) and print them four at a time.
