Carbon infused PETG filament for dimensional stability.
Base: There were many failures, as the base needs to be really air tight for the vacuum pump to work. Based on a prusa blog post on watertight models, air thighness was reached by printing with .15mm layer, piece standing up, with 4 perimeter layers. Seals are glued to base, following instruction for a CNC Vacuum hold; using 90A TPU as seal did not work. Area around rods the inserts and the air coupler are printer with a denser infill.
Holder: A pause is added to the gcode to insert the ball bearings.
v2: Uploaded a newer version of the base:
Larger drilling hole (40mm diameter)
Larger holes for guide rails, tested with Makita 194579-2 Router Guide Rail Adapter
Since the part has to printed vertically:
larger dust collection hole.
