Description
A cover for the pynq-z2. I made it to hopefully protect the board while it gets carries somewhere in my bag. The main idea was to prevent damage to the pins and to prevent it from snagging. The rubber feet still stick out a little and so it doesn't slip.
I printed it in PLA with 15% infill and I'm happy with how it turned out.
Cover gives (partial) access to:
Cover does NOT give easy access to:
Access to these is possible by removing the cover.
On the bright side, it is quite easy to remove the cover — it's held together with 4 16mm M3 screws (2mm head lies flush with the cover of the surface), and 4 nuts placed into the inserts from the bottom.
The original file is also here because adjustments are likely very necessary.
Quick note: the model has small adjustments compared to the provided pictures, which were made after printing. The changes were made to fix small problems encountered with the case (ie tolerances).
