Description
I created this rough model of the Dia-Compe ENE Ciclo "Command" Wing Shifters to test potential fit and feel of shifters with my drop bars and brake hoods. I've attached their official reference image I used to get the shape/size of parts, other images of the shifters across the web were helpful too.
These are non-functional shift levers, but can be used to determine potential feel and placement of the actual shifters - try them above or below brake levers, swapped left/right to find your preferred orientation, or if you don't like them at all.
See the attached image for print orientation and required supports for the mount.
Notes on use:
The bolt running through the middle should be ¼" or M6, hex or cap head. Double nut to prevent unscrewing when testing the movement of the shift lever.
The mount is designed to be retained with zip ties. The stop can be attached to the mount via double sided tape to prevent over-rotation, or you can rely on a zip tie to prevent over-rotation.
Yes, the cable stop part is in a strange orientation due to my modeling error but it works for the demo.
You can mirror the lever and cable stop in your slicer for left versions.
