Description
I wasn't sure I wanted to make a huge serpent-like beast but this morning I sat down and this turned out to be the model I randomly selected. Despite being a really daunting model and not the easiest to pose I think it turned out pretty good. This works for the Whirlwyrm and Giant Whirlwyrm from Turn of Wheel's Fortune since they're both "huge" beasts.

This started as an AI model then I posed and sculpted what you see. It's a Huge aquatic creature (although it can move on land too) so it's on a 75mm Flying Baseplate. I tried to pose so that the tail would have a couple anchor points and thickened up the spines / skin quite a bit but this could still be thin so that's something to watch for when printing. For FDM I think it should printed on its back at -90 degrees. For Resin simply using auto supports should be fine as usual - while it's huge it's not suuuper chonky solid so it shouldn't need drain holes added.
I've completed my quest for 1000 models in 2025 so now I'm trying to decide whats next.
