Hold all parts and allow having only the modem cable and power cable for a cleaner desk.

Allow using the hdmi port if needed.

Modem splitter - be cautious that there is 2 model : HL2003 & GG2003 and each model will need a different wiring/modification - https://amzn.to/3pSWBWq 

USB 2.0 56k Fax / modem - get the cheapest 2 led with 2 ports, I got mine for <15€ from amazon - https://amzn.to/3Myjkkq - price vary a lot.

5V step-up converter/Booster - get the cheapest one you can, they all fit

Raspberry Pi Zero W - Using a non-w would force you to have an rj adapter which is one more unneeded wire.

Wiring will be a bit different using my All In One box and you'll need to remove a few more parts than in the guide but you'ell get an all in one adapter instead of wires everywhere.

Friction hold the box and lid together without issues on my side.
