Filament Sample Box – Print-in-Place Organizer

This compact print-in-place box shares its design DNA with the Nextruder Nozzle Box, but it’s made for storing and showcasing filament samples.

The samples are printed separately and can be easily slotted into the box, where they sit at a slight angle for better visibility. Each sample can be rotated or removed individually — perfect for quickly comparing colors or showing off your filament collection.

The box prints as a single piece with fully functional hinges, no supports required. It closes securely with a simple snap mechanism and keeps your samples neatly arranged, whether you use a synthetic rainbow palette or your own custom set.

Printing tips

• Material: PETG or PLA

• Supports: None

• Orientation: As provided (do not rotate)

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm recommended

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
