Description
I wanted to make a castle façade for a glow-in-the-dark/UV reactive miniature golf game, for Halloween. I created the 3D front view of the castle, in a way that capturing a front view screenshot of the model would allow me to convert the screenshot back into an .svg file, which I could divide into 3D printer size pieces or sections. I printed the sections and adhered them to a backer board. The finished product consists of ten individually printed panels or sections. It worked.
I doubt anyone would want to print this specific model. In order to export the model, the design software combined all of the individual 3D pieces. This process, caused many of the brick details to disappear (compare the attached graphics), because they were merged together. I posted this design to show how a 3D design could be converted to make this type of artwork.
