This set is made for the minimal footprint when using a BME680 sensor connected with soldered cables to an ESP8266 controller. The model is optimised for ease of usage with both boards fixed within the enclosures.
Due to the optimisation for the sizes and PCB holes position, the models are only compatible with:
ESP8266 58x31x13 mm max (L x W x H). E.g. AZDelivery 3 x NodeMCU Lolin V3 Module with USB-C (https://amzn.to/3XyC2yY, affiliate link) and similar. Legs are not important - the board is held via the mounting holes
Any standard legless BME680 board to fit 15x17 mm with two mounting holes. E.g. https://amzn.to/4phtPLG (affiliate link)
How is it special?
The model is made to be assembled thanks to the friction. The two parts of each case are “closed” together easily
The case for BME680 is optimised in shape to allow easy cable management + ensure the soldered spots and not strained (and won't fall off if you pull the cables with a reasonable amount of effort)
The case for ESP8266 has a cable opening large enough to pass at least 10 standard cables AWG28 cables, so that you can connect many more than a single sensor
How to print:
PLA / PETG / anything
0.2 mm layer or smaller
