Description
My try to create a recoil pad for the Ruger No.1.
Has to be printed in a flexible filament, obviously…
It fits my stock, it might not fit yours! Didn't work for me in the end, it was still too hard and I didn't want to buy and test other flexible filaments.
The design consists of three parts and has to be loaded as a multipart-object into the slicer. This way you can adjust the settings for each part. Look into the .3mf to get an idea. The base has to be pretty solid, otherwise the pad will not be flush with the end of the stock.
The basic idea is that you can change the infill and wall parameters to adjust the end product. In the attached .3mf I tried with only one wall perimeter and fairly low infill that would create air pockets.
This way a lot faster to do in the slicer than trying it in Fusion 360.
Feel free to play around.
