Description
This cryptex puzzle is declined as an engagement ring case, that can be opened when aligning the 7 hearts. The 7 hearts combination reveals a message “WILL YOU MARRY ME” or “VEUX-TU M'EPOUSER” in the french version.
It's more a one-arm bandit than a cryptex with a ring as the big prize (and I wish you a “YESSSSSS” in return and a happily ever after life, or not 🤧).
Inside diameter is 30mm to place your wondeful ring, you only have to add foam to maintain the ring, 30mmx50mm thickness : 10mm.
On demand (use the tip link to my Paypal account paypal.me/tecnao and add your text in the comments with your generous donation 😉), I can customize your case by replacing the current random letters to send a specific message : both first names, the memorable date you offer the ring, or any declaration of love. One constraint : each word (or group of words like “WOULDYOU” and “MARRYME”) needs to be 7 letters long. You can write up to 11 lines that won't have any sense as long as the cryptex is not on the “7 hearts” position. Be creative so you won't have to split the words !!!
To create this model, I used the CEES cryptex' “clicking” design.

But I drastically reduced the dimensions and number of parts to decrease the printing time and final cost. Printing without any support.
No need for any screw in this assembly, everything is included. Just add the ring with its cushion.
You can download only 2 different files, one with the common elements and the second one with either the french or english version of the proposal. Choose two different colors for these two bundles. I used 0,15mm with “quality” parameters on PrusaSlicer and 30% infill. Maybe you can use different parameters, give it a try.
Edit: for the custom messages, only use ASCII characters to fill the gaps. No supplementary hearts. Thanks.

Have fun.
PS : the ring on the pictures is not included 😊
UPDATE : A 8 WHEELS MODEL IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CUSTOMIZED REQUEST.
