This is a spare part for the mechanism under the metal handle in a Bravilor Bonamat pump thermos I designed after one of these broke for the second time at my regular morning coffee spot.
There's a lot of empty space and sharp corners on the original part that serve no purpose, other than an originating point for fractures and cracks, so I took the liberty of filling them out.
Print on it's side with supports for the hinge to get maximum strength out of your layer lines and use a filament you'd trust to handle the load.
Installation instructions:
Separate the top lid from the thermos body by pushing out the hinge pin with an Allen key, a punch, needle-nose pliers or something else of suitable size
Remove the bellows by turning the round central part approx. 30 degrees counterclockwise
Unscrew the lone screw in the middle of the spout cover
Release the four latches around the perimeter with a flathead screwdriver
Be careful about the spring: Depress both of the buttons on the spout cover and pull the internal cover out of the lid
Remove the screw in the hinge for the handle and maneuver the handle assembly out of the hole in the lid
Separate the broken lever out of the handle assembly by pushing out the hinge pin
Replace the lever and put the lid back together by reversing the steps above. I pushed the hinge pins back into their place against a workshop table.
