Description
I didn't have a way to control the temp on my smoker so I threw this together. In theory I can be used to control anything that is dependent on heat or cooling.
List of parts used in the build
I have several options for the build. 1 with the lid with the 2 LED spots in it. In my case the blue LED indicates the unit is powered on, and the green LED indicates the output power is on. When the desired temps are reached the green LED shuts off. I have included a version with 1 LED hole and 0 LED holes depending on the route you wish to go.
Ive tested this out and this is the third version Ive made because of fixes and things I was not happy with it. This version has better internal supports for the control module and a vent on the lid to help it keep cool. So far this version has worked great, hence why I decided to publish it.
The wiring is straight forward but if you need help, let me know.
The lid is a nice snap fit and I put a small dab of CA glue in the corners after I verified it was all working, but its not required.
