A tray that fits perfectly on top of the Delonghi Dedica espresso machine and carries all its necessary accessories.
Features the following cubbies:
51 mm tamper (convenient to store a dosing funnel as well),
WDT tool (up to 32.5 mm),
51 mm puck screen (or paper filters),
general purpose cubby,
side portafilter hanger (any Delonghi standard 51 mm three ear),
tamping station (72 mm deep - will accomodate many portafilters, including the Delonghi original or third party portafilters with spouts, although some spouts may be too wide),
the tamping station may also hold a manual grinder,
comfortable handles that also keep the espresso machine buttons accessible.
Provided in two variants:
complete, single piece - 295 mm long, for large format 3D printers only,
split front/rear - fits even on a Prusa Mini, needs two M3 hex nuts and two M3x8 mm flat head screws.
Print instructions:
I've had success with PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle, 4 perimeters, 10% gyroid infill.
30-78 mm height modifier to 6 perimeters for a stronger tamping station.
Some supports on the build plate are needed, but most of it is easily bridged. Please refer to the provided slicer screenshots and the provided 3MF file.
The outside feature on the build plate may be difficult to print. A brim, or ideally the “mouse ears” or “brim ears” are very helpful. Again, please refer to the slicer screenshots and 3MF file, where I prepared brims according to this amazing tutorial.
Compatible with machines with three physical buttons at the top front - EC680, EC685, EC785, EC795. Not compatible with machines with the top touch panel, such as EC890. STEP files are provided in case you need to edit some features for your needs.
Goes well with my other Delonghi Dedica Espresso Machine accessories featured in the video:
