Description

V2 version adds possibility to mount two additional PowerCon outputs instead of third SchuKo-socket with adapter plate.

***********************************************************************************************

Was in need of a PowerCon power distributor for supplying some lights on a small stage (overhead). Insted of buying I just created this one.

I added a mouting position for half couplers (M10-Screw) that is separated from the power wires but with a hole to wire PE to the screw. Also I use some other diy distributors for stage floor operation with a switchable index-light so I added this here as well (20mm round snap in place). I can recommend double end sleeves with 9 cm of wire between the SchuKo-sockets (standard 50x50 mm sockets).

PowerCon and switch are wired with 4,8 mm Faston (shielded). For the index light and PE connection for the coupler I recommend Wago terminals.

Screws used:

  • 16 M4x16 for the SchuKo sockets

  • 4 M3x10 for the PowerCon sockets

  • 8 M3x12 to close up

For the wires I would suggest 10 cm between all the sockets and the PowerCon connectors in the sides, depending if you place your Wago terminals (I recommend to place them between 1st and 2nd for the 4 SchuKo variant [3 connection terminals] and between 2nd and 4th for the 3 SchuKo variant [5 connector terminals]) you can use 10 cm wires for the additional powercon and 10/12 cm wires for the switch.
