Description
My fleet company recently installed Motive brand DC-54 AI powered Dash Cams in our vehicles, which tend to invade privacy when you're not actually driving. In our case, the system has multiple cameras- the actual dash cam with driver facing ai powered camera, as well as larger exterior cameras. There are covers for both.
Recommend printing all of these in a UV/heat resistant filament like ASA, due to the fact that they will obviously be in direct sunlight/in a hot windshield.
The exterior caps are easy to print, just lay them face down and print. The dash cam cover will need supports due to the shape of it, but it can be printed in whatever orientation you want, with the right supports. if it's printed on it's flat end, it uses less filament but may be more fragile.
0.2mm layer height works great.
Included the original design stating “F-U Motive" (we aren't happy to have these installed), but i included models without that.
Apparently these cameras are supposed to come from Motive with a cover for the interior camera, for privacy reasons when off shift…but the fleet company didnt have the covers for ours. So I made my own.
