CORE One+ ventilation grille, optional with parametric Debris Filter

Update 3. December 2025: Added versions without debris filter.

This model is a replacement of the acrylic top vent grille. There are 8 variants available, 4 are designed to prevent debris/parts from falling through the upper ventilation slots

Choose from 8 variations: 4 with debris filter, 4 without debris filter:

1. CORE One vent grille. Replaces the original acrylic vent grille

2. CORE One vent grille debris filter. Replaces the original vent grille

3. CORE One+ vent grille with automatic handle. Replaces the original vent grille and enables automatic grille movement (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

4. CORE One+ vent grille with debris filter and automatic handle. Replaces the original vent grille with a debris filter version and enables automatic grille movement (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

5. CORE One+ vent grille, automatic handle for magnetic top cover. Replaces the original vent grille and enables automatic grille movement for magnetic top cover users (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

6. CORE One+ vent grille with debris filter, automatic handle for magnetic top cover. Replaces the original vent grille with a debris filter version and enables automatic ventilation grille movement for magnetic top cover users (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

7. CORE One+ vent grille, automatic handle for magnetic top cover with position indicator. Replaces the original vent grille and enables automatic grille movement for magnetic top cover users, indicating the grille position on the front (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

8. CORE One+ vent grille with debris filter, automatic handle for magnetic top cover with position indicator. Replaces the original vent grille with a debris filter version and enables automatic grille movement for magnetic top cover users, indicating the grille position on the front (using Firmware 6.4.0 and up)

Thanks to the model from Baron it was much easier to add the features mentioned above for the debris filter variations.

Variation 3-8 use the original PRINTHEAD COVER RIGHT LEVER for grille movement.

For version 5-8 there are two variants of the magnetic top cover front available. One version without the Tabs and one with the two Tabs.

Variation 3-4 might also work on the cover from e-magine3d.

Printing recommendations:

Use the preconfigured .3mf files for easy setup in the prusa slicer

0.4 nozzle, 0.20mm structural, no supports,

0% infill for grille without debris filter, do not change this setting

20% infill 3D Honeycomb (grid size adjustable with the infill '%' setting) for debris filter grille

for variation 1-6 use at least PETG, better PETG CF or other heat resistant filament

for variation 7-8 you need a MMU3, use PETG CF for the grille and PETG for the indicator

Assembling:

Remove the acrylic glass top panel, remove 3 grille screws, replace the grille with the printed version. 

The side with the debris filter should look to the top panel. For variation 3-8 the grille handle must be on the left looking to the front. 

For variation 7-8 replace the front of the magnetic top cover with the desired variant (see file section), insert the grille first into the indicator slot of the top cover.

Insert the 3 screws and tighten it slightly, now loosen each screw one turn counterclockwise. The grille should be movable without force.
